Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Excitement here at Chez Lez! The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered has landed. 11 years since the game's release, a year from Songs of the Past expansion and 2 years ahead of The Witcher IV. So far, so buggy - but nothing too bad, mostly dog having physics issue when trapped behind tree kind of thing 130
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 30/09/2026And then as suddenly as it happened, it was over. 020
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Not sure why Bluesky autocropped this, the sign is in this one. 040
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Not sure why Bluesky autocropped this, this is what it is supposed to look like. 010
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 28/09/2026They're a larky lot up the recycling centre. The Holy Family (and what's that thing in middle? Don't think it's the baby Jesus) are watching your unruly kids. *disclaimer* Watching, not protecting. Look closely to the right of the HF and you'll also see a skeleton hanging in the undergowth. 350
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 17/09/2026Well, Madame Markup and the Formerly Known Prince are getting dragged in a number of humorous ways. Like this: 000
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 10/09/2026Great, now even the kitchen scales is making a dramatic statement. 140
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 01/09/2026It is the first of September and our Sedum (Autumn Joy) has displayed it's self- awareness by darkening from pale pink to deep pink literally overnight. 150
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Is there an award for picture editors? Because the Guardian is doing great work lately and, imo, it should be rewarded. 140
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 26/08/2026Hey, Grim Reaper, that's ALSO the wrong goddamned 80 year old. God *almighty* :( Rest in peace, Tim Curry 19th April 1946 – 25th August 2026. What a legend. 614814
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 25/08/2026Aw Jesus. Now lovely, kind Dolly Parton has died. This year can just get in the fucking bin. Dolly Parton, January 19th, 1946 – August 25th, 2026 020
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 23/08/2026*Carrie Bradshaw voice* Having found freedom - and presumably finding it overrated - is this Megxit 2.0? Megexeunt? Unsussexful? Regretsit? 030
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 23/08/2026I just saw this notification on my phone. It's from my Smart Controls app. Why are you being a big perv, Smart Control app? 100
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Senior sparrow, much in the spirit of a master telling an apprentice to fetch a bucket of steam, clearly told this youngling to count *all* the raindrops. He did his bestm 130
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Uhhhh, something's gone funny with the sun. Hulllllllllooo? I said SOMETHING'S GONE FUNNY WITH THE SUN 020
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Over the last 56 years I've had many reasons to be glad to live in the town with the east of Ireland's only West-facing harbour. Today, I am especially happy. Our viewing place is some comfortably shaped rocks #eclipse 010
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 10/08/2026Happy sweet 16 to our Glinda. Last night I caught her on the table where she was attempting to bat my sunglasses off the table. But it had gone midnight and there is no telling - offs on birthdays. 230
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 10/08/2026So, I briefly popped out to the garden to take the morning air and the truth was out there. 040
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 09/08/20262/2 I planted for later colour this year and it's beginning to happen. So, now I just feel like the garden is just taking a breather before the later plants bloom. This lovely Japanese anemone (Dreaming Swan) is the first to show. 030
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Also a newly hatched Painted Lady has been getting its strength up on the inside of the kitchen window since last night 020
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Huge increase in butterfly and moths this year, happily. It's hard to say if that's a general increase or things we've done differently in our garden this year. We've 2 types of Hawthorn now and I left a small thistle patch. There was a lovely magpie moth on the kitchen floor last night. 220
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 03/08/2026There was a lovely peacock butterfly hanging out on the kitchen ceiling just now. Liz guided it back into the garden. 040
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Breaking News: in a courageous move, Democrats end decades of suspicion by revealing the true nature of Republicans: Shoggoths. 020

Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 22/07/2026I went outside to get the watering can and beheld this beautiful sunset. 040
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 20/07/2026Rewatching Salem's Lot (1979) I had forgotten a main character: the Jeep with the doors that won't close. 110
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 17/07/2026I'm really glad it's OK - it seems to be the only surviving offspring of this couple. 030
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 17/07/2026It walked in to the kitchen for a bit and had a wash, so we knew it wasn't stressed. Eventually I walked out the front door and it followed me down the drive. Then it walked off around the corner and I didn't see it again. Until! I spotted it on the neighbour's roof today, still limping but airborne 130
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 17/07/2026We had a seagull fledgling stuck in the garden yesterday. Originally it was stuck on the windowsill. I used a towel to put it on the grass, but it was limping and within seconds was attacked by an adult seagull. I talked to a wildlife rescue who said the garden wasn't a safe place to release it... 140
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 17/07/2026Judging of the annual Lovely Bee contest has begun. Glinda, being a cat, can't make a decision so they are all judged to be equally lovely every year. 010
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 13/07/2026Liz got great footage of a bee who nipped in to our kitchen to have a wash. 020
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 12/07/2026Bird action this morning. We noticed the ground is so dry and hard that that young birds weren't having much luck with worms etc so we put out 2 seed ballls. The balls are eaten by the end of the day and then we sterilise the feeders. Camera is a bit NYPD:Blue. Birds move as fast as New York, man. 010
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 08/07/2026Young starlings, doves and bees in abundance in the garden today 130
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 28/06/2026St John's Wort* flowered today, near as damn it to the Saint's day for which it is named. Glad to see that changing the type of Bergamot I planted near it this year has not resulted in fisticuffs, so far. *Hypericum perforatum, and if you're posh English you might pronounce it Singen's Wort 🤷 010
Trish @unknownquantities.bsky.social · 23/06/2026Came into the kitchen to see Glinda on the counter - where she is not allowed to be. She was lying in a patch of sun and had nodded off. Plant leaves were resting on her head like a fascinator. 130
