I'm sure that eventually a super-advanced AI could develop a system where data centers are placed in the oceans and somehow sealed away from salt corrosion. That would also destroy the oceans, but why would AI care if humans already don't?

Funny thing about all of those bots from the Terminator movies, is that they're actually way bulkier and more clunky than we actually make them in real life. We probably wouldn't even be able to battle them on a battlefield because they'd likely be too fast for us.
