I haven’t had great experiences with PCPs in general. I understand they’re not specialists but I’ve had quite a few that didn’t seem to believe me about some things despite me living in my own body. I just wish they wouldn’t act like experts in everything when they’re not.

my late FIL was always bouncing between the cardiologist and nephrologist (and a million other docs) anytime he went to the hospital (too many times to count). It was just a blessing my MIL worked for a health insurance company (and is an RN) so she could navigate the insurance nightmare.
