Also just a reminder to go get your eyes checked once in a while. She had no symptoms or disturbance to her vision. Tumour was only picked up by routine eye test 🤷‍♀️ just goes to show 😕 #cancer

Mad week. My mum had a routine eye test last week which found a tumour. This week she was diagnosed with a melanoma and had eye removed so I’ve been back & forth to hozzy and cooking for her etc. Had v little sleep 🥱 Today I’ve had my tea already and I’m half way to being drunk 🤷‍♀️

One of the responses I’ve had to the email I sent out this morning to all staff saying I’m leaving 😂😂 My reply: Oh god I bloody hope not. Can’t think of anything worse 😅 I hate being the centre of attention! I don’t even want to have a leaving do. I hate it that much 🙈

Email from a colleague that says “Aww Julie, you are such a special lady with a very rare talent, and I am really happy to tell you that.
Whilst there are people out there that can do the same job as you, they will not have that rare talent that you have, which is exactly why you were chosen for this new role.
While I will miss your amazing messages and your lovely vibrant personality, other people out there need a to experience them too. You go out there and carry on making a difference to people's lives.
You should be on the stage with a big audience, and maybe one day that that will happen”
