New year, new Folklore update. Will Diana's journalistic urge to interview a weird glowing child be her undoing? We already know the answer but feel free to guess. www.folklorecomic.com

A child gives a message of locations, followed by death. A woman contemplates if this figure can be trusted.

A new page of Folklore is up, featuring the most terrifying thing we could think of: a random kid. There's probably more context to this but I think we can all agree, no one wants to stumble upon some kid in the woods. They probably have kid germs. www.folklorecomic.com/

Late, but I wanted to jump in on this trend. While I love Fieren, I am deeply inspired by how brave this person was! They went for the hard thing, were curious, made us all rejoice and draw together! It makes me so happy to see folks gain that artistic curiosity! So go forth! Rooting for you! 💖

Reddit user SpaceDev1 does fan art of Fieren, in a difficult angle. User is wondering why the angle is kind of weird.

Happy Halloween! Every year Colin and I somehow miss this month...which feels like madness to me since Folklore is like 70% weird monster stuff. Here's a small, 2 page update for you to enjoy. Future pages will update each Wednesday. BOO! www.folklorecomic.com/comic/folklore-issue-9-cover

The cover of Folklore Issue 9. A group of survivors stand on top of a mountain that seems ominously shaped. The sun they stand against has the markings of a clock.

I'm sorry, it's #webcomicday? Hell yeah! If you're a fan of dystopian superhuman horror then you're in luck. @unartifex.bsky.social and I have been producing Folklore for almost 10 years! It's sad, spooky, and updates as often as life lets us. Free to you, dear reader: www.folklorecomic.com

A titan of a man breaks through a wall, screaming in search of someone to save. In the process, he nearly kills two bystanders.

A group of survivors run from a creature made of shadow, wrapped around the puppet of a human corpse.

An olderly woman beats up two people dressed like riot officers. She breaks someone's arm with the heavy swing of a police baton.

A man watches a reflection of himself murder a woman. He seems afraid of the act. His reflection seems proud and certain.

Comic art train! Working on Folklore @unartifex.bsky.social have had pretty consistant chats about color over the years. I love revisiting older pages vs newer ones, to see how much we've changed from issue to issue. #arttrain #comics #webcomics

Comic panels depicting a man pushing down an emergency lever, releasing the locks to a building that hangs from the underside of a mountain. Sharp reds highlight the weight of the man's decision, contrasting cooler tones used throughout the issue earlier.

Action-focused comic pages showing an elderly woman beating two guards in combat. The brightness of the background puts the action in full focus, allowing our absolutely rad protagonist to put the youngins in their place.
