Huge congratulations to the Avatar: Aang team for making such a phenomenal movie. Truly a killer art crew. I did a brief stint during early pre-production back in 2022 to explore a established shot for the Air Temple, and it’s incredible to see how amazing the final film looks.

Since bluesky supports video I thought I would share 2d animation that I did on #b3d #greasepencil back in 2019. 2d hand-drawn animation with grease pencil(back then there was no modifier hah), compositing and video editing are done in Blender. #artpost #eevee

Guess what, concept were also done in Blender! I saw a lot of potential in using blender and grease pencil for production. But at the time, not many 2D artists or animators, were working in Blender. So most of the shots ended up being pretty standard 2d shots. #b3d #greasepencil

@moderndayjames was an MVP of this project I don't know if I would have finished it without him The best part about collaborating with someone is when they elevate your stuff to a place you would not dream on. We knew each other before the project, so it was one of the first people that I approached

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for watching Duel! There’s no way I could’ve finished it without the support from all my friends. As a freelance concept artist, I mainly worked solo, so I haven't had many chances to collaborate. #b3d #greasepencil #blender #shortfilm
