The Domino Meme, where w man in khakis and a blue shirt is demonstrating that a small domino can eventually knock over a huge domino, if all the following dominos behind the first are double the size of the previous one. Americans justifying Trump’s actions against Canada sound like
Ralph Wiggum in the Simpsons saying to his parents, “"Mrs. Krabappel and Principal Skinner were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me.”

Meanwhile American media is like
Chief Wiggum replies to Ralph, saying “The baby looked at you?” after which he picks up the phone to tell his wife, who is actually sitting next to him, “Sarah, get me Superintendent Chalmers.”

European leaders are scrambling today to put together a response to Trump's Greenland threats, which could include sending a joint European force there to protect it from possible US invasion. But most Europeans still cannot accept the idea that they need to be protected from America and not by it.
