I cheated a little in another comment, but if you enjoy the genre "If We Use The Power Of Mathematics and Friendship at Stuff, Shit Gets Done," you'll like Project Hail Mary. Great adaptation, excellent visuals, great story telling, just a real treat from start to finish. Worth seeing it in theater.

Good Luck Have Fun Don't Die felt impossible to predict the direction it was going until seconds before it happened, which I found delightful. The plot is nothing ground breaking, but the adventure is hella enjoyable. You can see Verbinski's finger prints all over the movie. I also love S. Rockwell.
