Now watching Coyote vs. ACME and making Taz as ACME's head of PR is perfect. No notes.

The Slam Dunk reruns on Philippine TV has reached the clip show episodes, which are made by the show's Philippine broadcaster, GMA in the 2000s. Once they are done with this, they'll air the movies next, which will likely start airing next week.

The last time I have seen vibrant colors in a movie was six days ago. Doctor X and Mystery of the Wax Museum used limited two-strip coloring, thus giving their films this eerie colored look. Give me a really colorful horror movie to watch.

There's a local anime convention in my area. Was only planning to check the merch shops, only to end up not just buying a Super Sons keychain, but a lot of Kamen Rider gimmick items and I think a Kamen Rider Drive/ToQGer tie-in. Got the Tajadol & Shauta Medals in a set.

This week's KakuseiHunter Omegahorn is so good that it's best to watch it as soon as possible. Because the way this show ties back to Gavan Infinity got me invested back to Gavan Infinity, and I find that show okay at best!

Just watched this week's Kamen Rider MY-TH. What's with this franchise's snake Riders kicking so much ass in their debut episode?

The Disney+ app got an update here in the Philippines and apparently, it's the same Disney+ app that's being used everywhere else. If anything, it no longer has a picture quality slider thing. The online 4K no longer looks like 720p.

Kamen Rider Geats IX just made his Philippine free TV debut. And yes, they kept everything. Still as hype as the first time I saw it in my laptop.

In today's episode of Kamen Rider Geats in Filipino, Ace meets his mom. It really is obvious that they just dubbed over Mitsume's actress now that I rewatched this scene in my language. Like her mouth doesn't move. Like she is hiding something. I think it was braces.

I started my Godzilla Showa Era watch in May 24, 2024 and completed it today, October 5, 2026. Over two years spacing out 15 films spanning three decades. Glad that it ended on top with Terror of Mechagodzilla. What a beautiful shot to end the franchise before its Heisei reboot.

Ian Titular @ukiyaseed.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Now watching Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla. The Showa era went from monster horror to sci-fi as Godzilla becomes more and more heroic might be my favorite kind of genre progression with each new sequel.

Turns out the ending of #Lanterns was already advertised when James Gunn used these two specific images from Green Lantern Earth One. They really committed to it. Guess I should re-read this then. Been a while since I read it.

A good fresh Star Trek take on those fake isekai title jokes

A tumblr screenshot showing a post and two reblog responses, reading:
1. "star trek would be the ideal fictional universe to get trapped in because you'd explain your situation and they'd be like yeah makes sense. no further questions. fortunately we can use the mysterious warp signature emitting from this system's icy moon to counterface with the solar radiation and slingshot you back home"
2. "I'm from a universe where your world is all a work of fiction." Benjamin Sisko, nodding. "That happened to me once."
3. "I Got Isekaid Into The Star Trek Universe And They Quickly Understood What Was Happening"

The Slam Dunk reruns on Philippine TV is nearing it's end, which means we have reached one of the best filler arcs in anime, but because not everyone has seen Slam Dunk, no one is talking about Shohoku vs. Shoyo-Ryonan.

Currently watching Godzilla vs. Gigan and what I love about Showa Era Godzilla is it's sense of continuity. Like if you watch this films in order of release, you could see the gradual shift on how people see Godzilla. He went from destroyer to savior within a decade.

Ani-One PH just teased that they will be soon streaming KakuseiHunter Omegahorn on YouTube. Most likely it will get English subs.

I started watching Full Moon in New York today, but noticed that the English lines in this film does not match the subtitles. There are no English subs with the correct lines, guess I should fix it with my own hands. Enjoy a scene of Maggie Chung calling some dude a motherfucker.

A ride home after watching Forgotten Island made me realize that the friendship bracelets can be seen as anting-anting, talismans in Filipino culture that is said to give powers to the wearer and it range from protection to enhance strength. Realization made the climax hit harder.

Just watched this week's Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. A great season finale. Not only we get a sneak peek at things to come (including why TAS is firm canon), it's a fun story about two Uhuras and two Enterprises in one of the most TOS/TMP episodes of the series.

Ian Titular @ukiyaseed.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Just watched this week's Kamen Rider MY-TH and RID's debut was really great. Making him a Cat Rider whose finisher is essentially multiple red laser pointers hitting the enemy before the Rider Kick was really cool.

Gavan Infinity being okay at best might be design because this week's KakuseiHunter Omegahorn not only wrapped up a storyline at its peak, but I got more invested with the Reiji subplot. If you are not following the show, now is the time to jump in.

Just watched Forticus and I am glad that it has higher budget compared to your standard TTFC project. It even has an Eirin marker at the end, making it an actual movie. It's fun and the fake tokusatsu they showed reminded me that Toei used to produce magical girl toku.
