𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴 Professor Long (1935-2025) was instrumental in establishing UCLIC, having been Director of its predecessor, the Ergonomics and HCI Unit at UCL. He leaves a truly inspirational legacy in terms of insights, outputs and vision.
