If people will insist in climbing up Mt Everest and leaving their corpse as a way point, they should at least have the decency to wear biodegradable natural fibres. Climbers should not be allowed any plastic materials in their climbing gear.

Iran has hit another vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. That’s the ninth in five days, the highest rate in the entire war.
UKMTO has received a report of an incident within the Strait of Hormuz.
The Master of a tanker has reported being struck by unknown projectile, causing damage to the engine room.
The crew have been reported as safe and there is no environmental impact reported at this time. Authorities are investigating.
Vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing precum research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They made me jack off the LLMs and now chatGPT has blue balls. More thoughts below.
