This was the Dallas Wings game I attended two years ago while in TX for work. Got the ticket for $12 after fees. Now the Wings are playing to a full house in the playoffs in that same arena. Pretty awesome to see.

I’m the guy at NHL HQ who’s in charge of making sure all of our major events get overshadowed by things in other sports, they gave me a huge raise for putting the season opener at 5 pm on a weekday at the same time as Game 1 of the MLB playoffs
