Had a crown done today for the root canal I had 3 or 4 weeks ago. Fingers crossed this is the last dental procedure I need until January when I have the bridge put in on the other side.

It’s 79 degrees here at 10:30pm, outside UGH. I think the cats and I are going to melt. I am supposed to work remotely tomorrow but not sure I can even concentrate in the over-80 heat so I may have to go to the office. It will be 92 there BUT the office has AIR CONDITIONING.

Just finished with a root canal. It’s not fun but I had a great endodontist who was very patient and kind. The worst part was having to pee halfway through and not being able to go until almost the end.

Jennifer is taking care of a lot of extra mouths suddenly—several momma cats and 15 (? I have lost track) kittens have shown up in her yard. She is feeding them, getting them fixed, socializing them as allowed, and finding them homes. They are hungry!

Why are gluten-free airplane meals so bad? How hard would it be to find a pre-packaged gluten-free roll and a cookie to go with the main dish? Instead I had raw carrots, raw peppers with hummus, and some orange slices. I just don’t get it.

Then 3 customer service reps at Heathrow saw my cane and pointed me toward disabled assistance. I got pushed to security in a wheelchair and then driven to my gate in a cart! I did not know how easy that was and how kind staff are. I am glad I listened.

On the plane now, taxiing to depart. My friends convinced me to join them in their Uber, which I have NEVER done, I always take the Tube. They kindly treated me. I am glad I did, it is fucking hot and I am tired.
