Progress on my first attempt at a butter keeper! I had never thrown a knob on top of something after trimming it before and it took a couple of tries.

Made this goofy lil bud vase to test translucency with shino on this porcelain and it really comes alive when you shine a light thru it. Time for some mad scientist things! #pottery #ceramics

A friend of mine who has been coming over to learn to throw on my wheel wants to make a French butter crock. I am vegan and have never felt a need for one in my kitchen, so I’ve never tried it before. Today I threw these in an attempt to teach myself to make one before coaching him. Wish me luck!🤞
