Today my cat Atis turns 12. For 12 years, she stayed beside me through peace, loss, and war. Now, instead of birds outside the window, she listens to missiles and shaheds all night long. After every explosion, she comes closer, purrs softly, and calms me like she’s trying to protect me too.
