anybody else have the brain thing where if I use a bookmark that was made to be a bookmark in a book I inevitably fall out of reading that book until I feel like dealing with it again but if I use like a tag or receipt or etc as a bookmark i go ah yes thank you and read the whole book no problem
![Neopian Times user comic by theeaterofworlds:
“How do you identify yourself? I tell myself that I am a Lupe, but that could easily change tomorrow. Colour, shape, species…all of these can alter.” [Drawing of four different species of Lupe, Blue, Desert, Mutant, and Green, with different expressions.] “Even gender, the most basic way to define ourselves, can be changed.” [Drawing of a Lupe split down the middle, half blue, and half pink with gender symbols and a Strange Potion item. A large Blue Lupe with white feathered wings faces towards this image. White feathers float about.] “I want to know who I really am. I want to know the true shape of me. I want to find wings. Not for my body, but for my heart.”](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:34nifylegp5megkhe7bwvazr/bafkreihvtxmmiiksbldlygp22lj2r3d4n47uckzb7aynpf67fiuai45pgm)
