"Throwing moves and fixed first CMake make it a simpler task for modifications with broad roots in programming" Yes those are words, I just never heard them that close together before

I always imagine that one day we aim a high-powered telescope at an exoplanet and go "it's all black, nothing here", but really it's because the 'plants' there are black due to less sun energy and needing to be more efficient.

Right, there are also existing plugins for this. I started using one a few weeks ago, and then travelled, and literally forgot I was using one.

100% CodeCollaborator was/is a much better tool, but we don't use it because everyone just uses what's already there.

LLMs learned by looking at existing code. Most existing code is terrible. Hacked together over years of changing features and strategies. Barely working, in need of a rewrite. LLMs can now get you to that state of terrible code in record time! Eliminate years of drudgery, start with bad code today!

It is a gradient, but even a 10-15 degree angle change can change which muscles are the primary ones being used. Once you get into 30-45 degree changes it can be completely different muscles.

They were trained on human code, but much of that is *not* structured. Which means they are really good at reproducing bad code. What they were NOT trained with is a reward system that takes place as a codebase evolves over years. I code the way I do because I've learned what code works longterm.

Weirdly this means a maid gets to work from home? Of course a maid currently making a living in a 1st world city is suddenly competing against maids in the cheapest part of the world. Who might be slaves. And who gets blamed when the connection lags and the robot breaks something.

Awesome as always (as was your accu talk). Btw, Objective-C has (had? Is it dead yet?) the ability to replace member functions at runtime. (Member functions are msg passing and lookup. Not dynamic ala class vtable but as in swap the base class method at runtime.) And of course Lua and metatables...

There is also price pressure from what it is trying to replace - if an AI is as good as a jr dev, then it can't cost more than a jr dev. (And if it becomes as good as a Sr dev, etc)

Or Apple - being "behind" in AI might be a good thing. Also Nvidia, if they don't get too caught up in it (which they are) - the shovel manufacturers made the most money in the gold rush.
