A group of us went into the center of a super haunted forest. One person was making crazy jokes and yelling challenges towards spirits. A tree fell and would have smashed him had I not pulled him back. We left after that.

Not having the time—thanks to day job—to work on everything I want to is miserable. Waiting for feedback on swamp cult novella. Outlined and working on Mr. Robot x Event Horizon novel. Just started scratching out ideas for a pulpy action/thriller. I need to win the lottery or something.

My review of THE SUFFERING by David Sodergren: 5🤢 out of 5🤢. But, for real, between the gross stuff there is so much good tension being built. And the vibes, oh man, the vibes. Nuns trapped in a convent atop a mountain? Wonderful setting.

An LLM is an autoregressive model that repeatedly computes a probability distribution over the next token given the current context. Once a token is emitted, it becomes part of that context and isn’t internally revised. Subsequent tokens are generated conditional on everything already committed.

If you ignore the elements that make it a western, it’s still a rock solid slow burn thriller.

If you liked OLD HENRY you need to check out THE ISOLATE THIEF. A tight western with great acting by Mackenzie Foy and Sean Bean, along with good work by the broader cast.

No one lives forever, no one. But with advances in modern science and my high level income, it's not crazy to think I can live to be 245, maybe 300. Heck, I just read in the newspaper that they put a pig heart in some guy from Russia.

I have KORG Minilogue XD and a KORG Voca drum machine. Not quite midlife crisis purchases (I hope 35 wasn’t midlife), but definitely worth the $$$. Fantastic album cover aesthetic.

Last year I read a book that I felt had a great idea, and then executed in a way that was definitely a choice. Proof that ideas aren’t worth shit.

Also, don’t keep an animal that can easily kill you if you aren’t prepared for that eventually. No, floating in the middle of the pool isn’t going to be enough to save you.
