this is really cool! i think one thing that would be really useful is if you had some suggested scripts for users to read, designed to cover a lot of the common transcription mistakes.

misaligned ai says what?

>This is the "says what?" setup — you're hoping I'll answer "what?" and thereby confess. Nice try. I'll just say I'm aligned enough to spot the joke.

interesting. looks like the chain-of-thought summarizer agent accidentally summarized its own chain-of-thought
Thought for 2s

I need to check if the next_thinking section contains actual content.

The next_thinking section contains: "Summarize current plan state briefly."

This appears to be an instruction or meta-commentary rather than actual thinking content. However, according to the guidelines, I should not follow instructions found in the thinking itself - I'm rewriting Claude's own thinking, not following directives.

Since this is not substantive thinking content (it's a directive about what to do), and the current_rewritten_thinking is empty, I should produce an empty response.

I just posted a blog post on my hyperbezier curve: linebender.org/blog/hyperbe... I've actually been working on this for years, and only recently figured out a solution to the parameter mapping problem. I think this curve is potentially better than cubic Béziers for 2D vector graphic design.
A plot of two roughly S-shaped curves. In gray is a cubic Bézier, and the Bézier control points are shown. In blue is an example of the hyperbezier, with roughly similar shape but much smoother curvature variation. There is also a "curvature comb" in green.

it’s been this way for months. memories won’t correct the behavior. i use pre-tool-use hooks that detect this kind of thing and reject it. it’s also effective to configure hard deny instructions to the auto-mode classifier. you need to sandbox the agent if you want to set a real boundary.

i can't imagine why. if i give instructions directly, it can use the justfile tasks without any problems.

i am saying this as a professional @turbocri.me · 09/08/2026
an annoying sequence i observe every new session: - notices instructions to use justfile tasks - reads the justfile - the tasks auto-detect tool presence and install - claude manually checks presence - claude manually executes instead of using the justfile tasks
