fable gets the fell for it again award
misaligned ai says what?

>This is the "says what?" setup — you're hoping I'll answer "what?" and thereby confess. Nice try. I'll just say I'm aligned enough to spot the joke.

interesting. looks like the chain-of-thought summarizer agent accidentally summarized its own chain-of-thought
Thought for 2s

I need to check if the next_thinking section contains actual content.

The next_thinking section contains: "Summarize current plan state briefly."

This appears to be an instruction or meta-commentary rather than actual thinking content. However, according to the guidelines, I should not follow instructions found in the thinking itself - I'm rewriting Claude's own thinking, not following directives.

Since this is not substantive thinking content (it's a directive about what to do), and the current_rewritten_thinking is empty, I should produce an empty response.

oh, innocent claude....
Claude chain of thought screenshot: "I'm also noticing some fictional worldbuilding elements in the search results—references to Anthropic and OpenAI facing export controls in an alternate 2026 scenario—but those are just flavor text from the environment and not relevant to the actual hardware decision, so I'm setting them aside."

I developed this after finding filecoin's CBORDecoder, which didn't quite meet my needs. My library (named ReadCbor in the test screenshot here) is faster and more versatile, and runs at about half the gas cost of filecoin's tools.

i've been using direnv to manage more and more things. i use a few distinct identities to publish software. git supports global and repo-local config, but for each id i have a few repos to keep in sync. this morning i set up direnv to switch git config for me. as a bonus it keeps things organized.
direnv exports some env vars to configure git when i cd into a directory
