You will need to incorporate though so you don't face any legal repercussions for being a human (except for all the ways we consider corporations human when it benefits them).

Today in man bites dog, a 72 year old shot an ICE agent. Even more astounding, the ICE agent is in jail, not the man. (Am I the only who notices how many ICE agents seem to have Hispanic-sounding surnames? It's like seeing the SS filled with guys named "Isaiah Goldberg" or "Herschel Greenstein".)

But they do require permission...they require the permission of the government where the people with warrants are located to cooperate and make arrests. The ICC has no enforcement arm, so will always rely on this cooperation. Or on another country to invade and arrest those people.

But how does Nazi's not allowing it, allow a local jurisdiction to allow it? NYC is a local jurisdiction and cannot act on its own with a foreign entity against the US Govt interests as far as I can tell. Also, to be clear, I wish they could. But just saying they should doesn't make it possible.

The US doesn't acknowledge the authority of the ICC, so I am not sure how an individual state (or city) would be able to allow it. If you were the most one of the most powerful people (politicians) in the most powerful country, would you voluntarily allow a 3rd party authority over you?

I wrote about who is actually making America “poorer and dirtier.” It’s not immigrants. (Gift link) www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...
Who is responsible for this terrible state of affairs? The opposition party and immigrants, apparently. Vance went on to say, “The Democrat legacy of the last few years was that they bankrupted our country and left us poor. They left our country weaker. They left our border wide open and our communities less safe.”

But this account represents a preposterous inversion. Almost every problem Vance lists, the Trump administration has made worse.

The administration’s environmental policies have made American water and air dirtier. Its health-care, tariff, and tax policies have worsened inflation and increased the financial burden on most American households, even as incomes have grown. And its public-health policies have led to outbreaks of contagious disease.

This is a wild misapplication of the test for a stay, sure, but it’s also just disconnected from how the real world works. In Alito’s mind, the only factor for determining whether something is legal is “Does Mister Trump want it.” A little bobblehead for fascism. Vile, stupid, get out of my face.

Genuinely an insane paragraph from Sam Alito. “Voter fraud is real and scary and we have to stop it, so the fact that implementing Trump’s mail ballot rule will disenfranchise millions is legally irrelevant.” Brain melted. A right-wing podcaster in a robe. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

As for the equities, the Government has a strong interest
in enforcing the rule, and implementing it will also “en-
hance the visibility of Federal Ballot Mail” in order to better
detect election fraud. 91 Fed. Reg. 54972. On the other side
of the balance, the plaintiff States invoke the practical ef-

enough to convince me to deny the application.

The idea that you only press politicians after they've won — when they're more entrenched and more focused on donors — is deeply incompetent. They're at their most vulnerable as a non-incumbent running for office, so it's the best time to hit them as hard as possible. This is about fear and power.

If, just because Republicans are very unpopular, transphobic Dems get some victories this cycle, their already anti-trans consultant class will press them to go even farther, and for others to imitate them. Bipartisan support for fascist transphobia is an even worse situation than our current one.
