I feel like 1.) Society and the economy are becoming more and more difficult to scrape by in 2.) It's becoming harder for people to land jobs that are more compatible with their productivity style 3.) valid! and eating iron-rich foods will help too. it's also a dietary thing as well. just keep an eye on your body. if you get low like 6 or less in hemoglobin, they WILL tell you to go to the ER instead. your body starts acting weird when you get that low so keep an eye on yourself!

If you start feeling weird during, you let them know and they stop the transfusion. If it continues, I dunno what happens. I've never had a rejection before. There's always risks when getting blood transfusions but there's protocols in place to protect you, too.
