My only desire for the Promptober Madness is to reduce the number of drowned Sonics on my art tracker. Not... *none* but less.

Hika's art tracker. They started off a little rough, with lots of missed art days, signified by Sonic the Hedgehog drowning in the Chao garden, but they had a good month of art, represented by thumbnails of said art works.

The current day that has yet to receive art, is represented by Snap from Chalk Zone telling Rudy he has to draw something.

Thinking about brush pens, a struggle I have with mine is when they're not exactly juicy anymore and the edges of the strokes they make are soft/fuzzy. I want ink brush strokes, like, razor sharp at all times. I might be asking for too much though

I might lean into process footage snippets a bit more for SocMed because I feel like for my work it honors the effort/journey more than a final PNG does. I don't mind still dropping PNGs for Ko-Fi and my website tho cause those are more high-context experiences in-and-of-themselves(?)

Glad I decided to record my analog art process on a whim. IDK how I'm gonna edit and chop it up but something about the thought of just posting the final scan makes me feel kinda… sad/vulnerable? IDK what's up with my psychology lately. But I like the "I was here" energy of the process footage.

My Copic N5 needs potty training. I desaturate it on a paper towel... within seconds, sopping wet at the brush tip again. I have the one and only never-ending copic marker... Nothing some white ink can't fix, I guess.

Leuchtturm 120g's are so good for dip pens that it's lowkey frustrating (worth the money, but premium price tag). Most mixed media sketchbooks play nice with dry media too, so they have good tooth/texture, but for dip pens that means paper nuggets in the tines…

Jenn kinda indirectly put me on game re: photo corners. I think I might be able to… use them as a reduced plastic storage method for loose leaf analog artwork… I could put art onto backing paper with archival photo corners and then put said backing paper in an archival box.
