Paid my fine to the H-Woke-A for snickering at the name "Draco Malfoid," so they gave me my bsky log-in back.

So apparently my #tmnt2012 designs are being stolen and resold on Redbubble by *multiple* different people… And I can't report them because I don't own the IP. This is my only shop right now. Anyone else is reselling them without my permission: www.redbubble.com/people/palad...

I got this show mixed up with Yowamushi Pedal and am really disappointed at the lack of bikes.

They kind of ran out of templates with Jirachi. Every movie after was either a road trip "we're in a new town where something weird happens." It also seems like a missed opportunity to not give the others a movie to themselves like Max and May had.

Not 100% sure what you're looking for. His anime works are usually popular enough that they have some sort of international release (not Don Dracula, for obvious reasons). His stageplays are obviously a different matter, and you'd probably need to know Japanese.

Did the math on my Daybreak-Horizon playtime and it breaks down like this: Daybreak 1: 782 days (about 2.15 years) Daybreak 2: 44 days (1.5 months) Horizon: 18 days (2.5 weeks) Horizon averaged 5.2 hours/day. That's why no videos. I don't recommend. Also proof that I started DB1 on demo day:

The Pokemon series has a tendency to shelve episodes and plotlines if they could possibly touch upon any kind of national trauma, so it's a good thing that Entei: Lord of the Unknown Tower came out in America during April of 2001 and not any later.

I'm so in love with Liko's Coordinator outfit so I had to draw it! 🌿🔥💧 #art #pokemonhorizons #anipoke

Image description: a digital illustration of Liko from the Pokémon Horizons anime series, a young girl with medium-length navy blue hair with blue highlights and light blue eyes. Her hair is style into an updo with a braid around it, leaving out two thick face-framing strands. Instead of her regular outfit, she's wearing a special Coordinator outfit: a dark waistcoat with a cyan trim, two coattails, and four red buttons (one of which resembles a fire symbol), and a white blouse with short ruffled sleeves, and a turquoise ribbon-tie. She also wears a matching dark beret with matching white ruffles and a leaf symbol, as well as matching dark gloves with white ruffles.

She's in a Pokémon Contest, twirling as the spotlight shines brightly behind her, and extending her hand towards the viewer with a smile.

End description.

I'd agree about the rivals and their dynamics (except Kenny), but Brock is kind of a third wheel for most of the series. The show didn't need him to be much more than that, though. Croagunk makes him worthwhile.

Judging by the context of a question I received, it sounds like someone did something bad. I don't recognize the person's name, and don't want to share it in case they didn't. Even if I did know who they are, I probably don't need to have an opinion. Just a general rule.

Possibly, but the precedent is there for May/Dawn/Serena for Aqua/Galactic/Flare, and they didn't have much for the climax. Iris was more involved in the Team Rocket stuff though, so it's not out of the question.

Dr. Truth @truthordeal.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Yes. May's my favorite, but she is still a cartoon character. KAORI is a real person and deserves the dignity of being treated like one. The Japanese are right in how they deal with recasting and the Americans are wrong. Subtweet TPCi.

I appreciate the lengths you had to go to to mix Neco Arc, Dawn and Yachiru to make this. 10/10 for effort. Cynthia's aura is increased, but still only 5/10 Kenpachis.

Anything with the terastalization effect is supposed to be hard to animate. Fish and birds moving when not swimming or flying also tends to be pointed out. Busier designs I'm sure are a pain, but the Ultra Beasts (especially Blacephalon) looked good in Sun and Moon.

A lot of people think that when you set out to make one kind of story, you have to do a specific set of things, and that if you do those things, that's Good Writing, and that anything else is Bad Writing. I cannot think of a more harmful way to process the arts but many people clearly believe it.

0244

Dr. Truth @truthordeal.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

The HZ staff deserves a lot of credit for making this episode work. As soon as PokeStops showed up in-universe, it completely took me out. The GO mechanics blatantly contradict every other part of the franchise, and I can't think of a time that including them didn't detract from the anime.

2114

Dr. Truth @truthordeal.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

I wouldn't say I dislike his episodes, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you much about Shinzo Fujita's tenure, aside from the kaiju stuff. Junki Takegami gets flack for his more absurd Gym battles, but he is very funny and very good at writing Team Rocket at least.

020

Dr. Truth @truthordeal.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Ash vs. Leon is perfect. Only Ash vs. Kukui or Ash vs. Paul are in the same stratosphere. Ash vs. Cynthia was fine. I don't feel strongly about the writing, but I also don't view Cynthia as Pokémon's Kenpachi the way many do. The animation is rough, but I get why and it's fine.

The recent discussion around the inspiration that Ocarina of Time remake takes from ningyōgeki is interesting because, regardless of whether this interpretation is true or not, it turned the spotlight on an art form that is rarely discussed despite its importance in Japan’s AV media.
