Samuel Alito flew flags used by insurrectionists. Clarence Thomas' wife plotted to overturn the 2020 election. Both justices refused to recuse themselves from SCOTUS cases related to the Jan 6 plot. Both ruled in favor of Trump's mail-in ballot sabotage. I don't think I'll ever get over this.

I'm up before dawn to knead the dough, and mix cinnamon sugar. Once the rolls are in the oven, the smell draws them in. When I open my window, there's a line down the block. Beside the usual students (who get theirs free) are dozens contractors and artisans, pastry-for-service proposals in hand.
