Confession: I used to want a pair of those Ray Bans with the camera in them. I was never going to wear them out of the house. Why did I want to try them? I wanted see if I could record works in progress in the workshop, but they were too expensive to test. Now, I'm glad I didn't get any.

Lord, as a 3D printer, this has me so worried, as well. I'm doing my damndest to make sure those I'm supporting aren't creating files using AI, but I'm so worried that I'm going to miss something. I really need to find the energy to learn modeling myself.

\stolen off a friend. This is so true. Got a flyer from our local little theatre about a Gilbert & Sullivan production they're staging. Was mildly interested until I realised it was all done with AI slop. It went in the bin.

An anti-AI post that reads: Your AI event posters: - use fake fonts that cannot be read easily by the visually impaired or those with Dyslexia. - are crowded and over-stimulating, hiding the important details and information. - use mixed, muddied, and unappealing colors. -are hated and ignore by the younger generation, artists, and environment activists. I made this poster in 20 minutes. It's clear, concise, and easy to read. Intent matters, your vent matters. Stop the slop. Artists against AI.

Hell, I don't even use Photoshop to do stuff like clone my dice to fill in gaps in my backgrounds. My process? Take the picture, wait for it to upload to Dropbox, go in to Photos, crop it as a square, maybe zoom in or straighten it up a bit, and done. Hashtag professional.

None of my product photos use generative AI. The reason things are sometimes blurry or you can read them? That's 100% my shaky hands or smudged lens. All human screw ups.

I did sales for a while (not residential door-to-door) and they impressed upon us the "fact" that if someone has a "No Solicitation" sign, that means they know they're weak and will buy anything on impulse. Ignore it and make that sale. I barely lasted a week.
