Oops, I forgot to add the USD calculation into that. The average local price in USD is $1.91 per litre or USD$8.67/gallon. At the peak of prices back in May the average was about USD$11.39/gallon in Perth, Australia. My point is the price still has plenty further it can rise in the USA.

American's think this is ridiculous, but at $1.59 per litre it's actually still *incredibly cheap* compared to the rest of the western world. For example, the average price for a litre of diesel in Perth, Western Australia today is: $2.74 For those in the US, that equates to $12.33 per gallon.

Saying the war "never would have happened" if Donald Trump was president is not only a lie, it's possible that by signaling that the US was weak on Ukraine--by demonstrating that a president could illicitly halt aid, and that our government wouldn't actually hold him accountable--he helped cause it.
