Filmed over four years across kitchen tables, protests and public meetings, this documentary follows a city fighting for itself as a broken property market chews up its citizens for profit. Rooted in Dublin, it reveals global forces reshaping cities, where homes are assets and people are obstacles.

At a private 1996 meeting with British officials about the peace process in Ireland, then French President Jacques Chirac recalled once being called a "papist pig" by Ian Paisley. The meeting also saw French officials concerned at the possibility of multiple Ian Paisleys.

Provisional IRA prisoners in France at times found themselves in close contact with other political prisoners. In a particularly literal example, James Coll of the Eksund shipment recalls in 1988 being chained to a political prisoner from Guadeloupe while being transferred to hospital in Paris.
