My soul dog, Junebug, is 7 today. In addition to her annual special human food dinner (sausage, watermelon, and cheese), she enjoyed pup cups with her baby sister, Marceline. (Yes, the "baby" is about the same size, hah!)

What dwells with me most about the culture immediately following 9/11 is the erasure of the towers from media. The WTC was removed from Spider-Man (2002) trailers and posters, and the last big swing of the film sees him sticking the landing on an American flag.

I playtested a TTRPG at Dragon Con and went to fill out the feedback form tonight. The way they ask questions leaves no room for my actual notes- "This system should just be an Apocalypse World hack, and you should rename the entire thing." ...I don't think they were hoping for my kind of opinions.
