- of mandatory backtracking is obnoxious when it compounds on you simply trying to learn the map and getting turned around on your own. This game also can tend to bombard you with some of the most obnoxious enemies that respawn like mad when you voluntarily backtrack too. (2/3)

I especially love the Morph Ball entry 😭 I’m just envisioning some Space Pirate slamming its head on a desk going “How does she DO that!?!! How does she roll up into a ball??!!?” This shit’s awesome, makes me wanna learn the Metroid lore a lot more across the whole franchise.

I’ve been replaying Metroid Prime to get myself amped for Ravenous, and I’m enjoying the scan feature SO much more than I did on my 1st run. The Space Pirates assessing Samus’ tech and being piss scared of her is so good.

Thinking of trying Splatoon 3 and applying what I've learned. The gadgets were fun add-ons to the core Splatoon movement mechanics and allow for tons of fun customization for a full playthrough. I don't know just how much farther down the Bottomless Buffet I'll go, but this game's a banger 👌 (2/2)

(#54) Splatoon Raiders I have limited experience with mainline Splatoon's online components, but Shifted Pyro convinced me to play this with him and I had a blast! Co-op campaigns you can play online are an easy way to get me on board, and I feel much more adapted to Splatoon's core moveset! (1/2)

Overall, it was alright. I'm unfortunately forever going to stand by 3 being the "real" end of the story, but neither of the following movies are bad. I just wish stories would end, but that's hardly a unique issue to this franchise. I wanna rewatch the rest of them now, so that's neat. (6/6)

In spite of that hangup, I still thought it was typical Pixar levels of funny, and Jessie's more compelling than she ever has been. Blaze is a delightful character, if they make another Toy Story, I hope she's in it. Obviously a gorgeous film, they really show off with the environments. (5/6)

I don't think either 4 or 5 match the emotional heights of the 1st 3, but centering on Jesse for this one made a lot of sense. Definitely! I'm convinced the only reason I want anything good to happen for the gang is because him and Charlie Day are endearing in a way the other 3 members aren't. No disrespect to the other actors, I don't know them from anything else so I think I just see the characters for who they are 😭

Best eps so far are “The Waitress is Getting Married”, “The Gang Buys a Boat”, “Sweet Dee Has a Heart Attack”, and “The World Series Defense.” Charlie is still best boy, but that seems to be the basic opinion. It’s just fun seeing him and Frank bounce off each other, their chemistry is great. (3/3)

Mac especially is just awful 😭 Charlie Day is very down to Earth in his character/physicality, it makes me like him the most. It seems like the show is aware of how fucked everyone is, so I don’t take it to mean that you should emulate any of these people, I think it mostly works, as a comedy. (2/2)

Wanted to do a video checkpoint update since it's been a bit. We're timeline-ing and have got about 20 minutes of Xenoblade 3 done so far! About 10 pages deep of the 70 I've got... so I'd guess I'm MAYBE... 1/7th of the way done? Still plugging away and working on it when the motivation's there.

It’s one of these situations like Persona 4 where I have no faith that any of the things I’d actually want them to change in the remake, they’d actually change.
