Local indy wrestling outdoor show got flooded two matches in so they built a euro-pallet bridge to the ring and went on with the show. Bremen. Home of maniacs.

Area right by the Weser, wrestling ring, tents and rows of chairs, all flooded.

Same area minutes later with a euro-pallet bridge and a wrestler entering the ring. The show must go in.
And yes, the loser got wet.

Is it a coincidence Wild Men where everywhere in high to late-medieval middle-european literature and heraldry and then went out of fashion at roughly the same time the eurasian brown bear went extinct in most regions? Okay, that's a leading question. Where they also hard to take photos of?

Having somewhat fucked up my order to Germany I now finally read DIE LOADED #1&2. Sure, I expected it to return with all the TTRPG horror, queer trauma and emotional messyness we love about the first series. And then I read this half sentence and instantly was back in the trenches.

Did you known the dropkick we know today was popularised by Italian-American wrestler Jumping Joe Savoldi in the 30s? 1942 he was recruited by the OSS for his language and hand-to-hand combat skills and took part in several mission behind enemy so IT IS PLAUSIBLE TO ASSUME HE DROP-KICKED FASCISTS.
