I spent my whole life not knowing who or what I was, not really seeing myself when looking in the mirror and when I realized I could just decide who I wanted to be, the idea to transition went off like a light in the dark, linking so much together and making way too much sense to ignore.

But the most poignant one in that example is that if I do that I can't hide it, it's not a wig I can just take off and that really bothers me again now for some reason, even though I used to do this and I think it's my job, if I had to guess
