My Transformers collection is rapidly arriving at the Event Horizon. I'm very close to stopping collecting of any new figures until I sell some off or find more room. I'm not there yet, but I'm nearly out of shelf and closet space in my office.

I think that I can pinpoint my aging-up in my love of Transformers to this Andy Wildman cover of Marvel comics Transformers 70. I never stopped loving Transformers, but my interest was starting to wane. This cover breathed new life into my passion and then Furman's writing snapped me back in place.

I'm less inclined to participate in TFW2005. They have been taking down forum posts and comments critical of Hasbro's nationalist "Star Eagle" figure along with comments critical of the Trump administration; but leaving up some blatantly pro-nationalist rhetoric. I'm not happy with this direction.

My Mayor Pete action figure came in today from the 2024 election Kickstarter. It's a little sad and weird - but I wish I had a Buttigieg with the beard. He looks too young here.

The Kamala Harris and Tim Walz action figures arrived from the Kickstarter I funded during the election. Wow! I have never felt so depressed about the chasm between the joyous life I thought we would all be living right now, versus the flaming dumpster fire that Trump inflicted on us all instead.

My favorite line from MST3K is from Time Chasers, where they land in the ruined future (that's just an alley behind a storage facility) and the girl looks off camera and says, "it looks like there was some kind of... War?" and Tom says, "you'll have to take our word for it, we can't show it!"

Stranger Things Season 5 stuck the landing. I liked all 5 seasons, so don't take this to mean any of them are bad. Here's how I would rank them from least favorite to most. 5th best - Season 3 4th best - Season 2 3rd best - Season 5 2nd best - Season 1 Best - Season 4 Friends don't lie.

Absolutely fascinating trip to the mechanic in a Ford Model T. I'm not a car guy at all, but the visual story told about a day in the life of this super-classic car is just world-class. The way they show the driving and maintenance is far more compelling than you'd expect. youtu.be/4vKDKC_8ncQ?...
