Volunteers removed huge swathes of Himalayan balsam, a fast-spreading invasive non-native species that suffocates native plants and causes riverbanks to erode. 120

Created in July 2024, these ponds offer vital space for wildlife and slow the flow of water. Following intense rainfall, these ponds filled up nicely to temporarily store water and slow its flow towards the village of Endon. 010
