USPS needs overhauled. My sister in Blair, NE just north of Omaha sent me a certified letter on 9/8. It went to Omaha, then Kansas City (I live there), to Olathe, KS (south part of KC) back to Omaha & now it’s back in KC on 9/13. We live 3 hours apart. 29 notations so far on this letter’s travels.

When I was in 5th grade in the 70’s, she played in our small town gymnasium. I sat in the front row with a couple friends. Throughout the performance she winked and waved at us. She stayed and talked to the audience that stuck around. She was so nice! Made a huge impact on me.

We had a neighbor like that for 2 years every day at random times they shot off one bomb firework. I went outside and called them all kinds of foul things and said have respect for your neighbors. Another neighbor yelled yeah! Haven’t heard them since. They probably moved.

This baby makes me so happy. They are looking at the pages and showing a lot of expression. I started reading to my daughter right after she was born and now she consumes books like candy. All kids should be read to starting at birth.

I understand why our #medical industry is so expensive when I can’t return this like new device my dad used for less than 2 years, so someone else with a pacemaker can use it. I was told either throw it away to sit in a landfill, or they will dispose of it. It needs to be more than a 1 device use.

People tend to forget, she’s a human being who has a job that everyone sees and enjoys. Like everyone else, she wants and needs human connections. With a past job, I interacted with several celebrities and pro athletes. I always tired to see the person and not the fame and have normal conversations.
