There’s a brief break in the crowd here at Inkubator, so I can talk about A FRACTION OF A POINT! It’s nail biting, exquisitely written, and a thrilling story. The Bees won the gymnastics state championship 19 times in a row- do they have a 20th win in them? #CleInk26 @ksupress.bsky.social

Fall’s starting to shape up around the KSUP offices: We’re excited about the arrival of early/advance copies of Carolyn Williams-Noren's “Oil Courses,” Jonathan Knight’s “Classic Guards,” the latest Funky Winkerbean book, and a new edition of “Cuyahoga Valley National Park Handbook.” Happy reading!

Someone said to me, "I'm sorry but I got your book from a library." Nobody should ever apologise for that. You read my book! That's brilliant! I grew up hanging out in libraries and the idea of a world without them fills me with dread. Without libraries, authors, like readers, will only suffer.

Contrary to common narratives suggesting book challenges come from concerned parents, our data shows otherwise. ~92% of challenges to titles in 2025 came from pressure groups and gov't decision makers. 2.7% of challenges came from individual parents. We dig into the data: bit.ly/4cmgFWQ
92% of all book challenges in 2025 were initiated by pressure groups and government officials.
