I like Ahsoka and enjoyed the first half of the Mando show, but yeah the last thing they need is another movie beholden to Filoni's own creations within the GFFA. Star Wars needs more creators who don't want to rehash (or play it safe by lazily imitating) what's already been done.

You don't seem to get that Star Wars itself was a pastiche of other genres. R1 and Andor work because they reinterpret other genres in the GFFA. JJA & RJ tried to make the Sequels by recreating Star Wars, professing their "love" for it, and what did we get? A weak, lazy, uninspired mess.
