🌡️ June 2026 was a hot month for Europe's land surfaces. The latest land surface temp anomaly map from EUMETSAT’s Land Surface Application SAF shows land in central France running up to 7°C above the 2004-2025 average, a useful indicator of heat severity on the ground, vegetation & buildings.
