Wow, thanks for the insight. In a former career I had to manage lots of IT audit, security & compliance materials. What struck me about the PPWR documentation I've seen was how much ambiguity there was, as written. That felt intentional. Deliberately broad so they didn't get stuck in the complexity.

Regulatory reader here. A lot of the issues would be clarified or relieved if they fixed what ‘making available on the market’ means. Currently MAOTM includes shipments made free of charge— so just mailing a demo tape to a polish cousin would count as a commercial activity. And that’s silly.
