#OnThisDay 104 years ago the London & North Western Railway commenced DC electric services from Euston to Watford Junction with the opening of a third pair of tracks between Queens Park and Euston. Services were provided by Oerlikon units like this preserved at the NRM in York.

The garden visitor is constant. This morning, our eyes met separated by the glass pane of the kitchen window. He is eating mealworms we scattered on the ground for birds. Engagement lasted for a moment. He then ran off. #FoxoftheDay #UKWildlife #Nature #WildlifePhotography #Photography
