iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Watched Halloween off the back of the show- hadn’t seen it in many a year. Still an excellent movie and yes I think a template for everything else. Less keen to do Fri13. Some other horror beckons tonight I feel.

Steve Dillon drew the cover to 515 featuring Johnny & Red if that counts. And obv the other three.

Huge congratulations to #AnimeLimited on the £1million opening weekend for #AKIRA onscreen. These are the good times we dreamed of when we first saw this #anime masterpiece forty years ago; long may they roll.

Chuffed to see Akira for the 40th anniversary (?) tonight at a big multiplex. Went to Bath’s Little Theatre ten years ago for the last milestone. Still great! Nodded off a little but it’s long and was late. Glad to have had all your little ‘watch for this bit’ reminders in my head as it went along.

new spider-man trailer, obligatory spider-man post

a comic strip. panel 1: a window in a run-down apt. 2: spider-man's head appears in the window. 3: spider-man flips into the room, "Jeeeeepers, what a night! I'm so hungry!" 4: he stands before an empty refrigerator, "Petey, Petey, Petey... What do you have to eaty?" He sighs.
5: He grips the cabinets, "Come on friendly neighborhood spider-manwich...." 6: but opening the cabinet finds nothing but skittering roaches, to whom he says, "oh, hey guys." 7. He removes his mask, "It's just me, it's Pete," he reassures them. 8. He sprays webbing into the waffle maker, "Oh well, looks like web waffles again tonight, fellas"
