The level of the highest flood, on 25 October 1882, is recorded on a plaque on the riverside wall of Westbury Gardens. (My photo) not sure just how high that is though.

Recommendations from my 10yr old son (Haru by @lookhappy.bsky.social), 7yr old daughter (The Narwhal & Jelly series by Ben Clanton) & 12yr old daughter (Be Prepared by Vera Brosgol). I knocked a year off each of those ages as the books are not brand new.
