fun detail from quarterly filings: SpaceX bought $295 million worth of Megapack stationary storage batteries from Tesla... without that purchase, Tesla's energy generation/storage revenue would have been flat for the quarter (energy segment revenue was just over $3b, up 13%, so just about $300m)

Sad day. After many years of faithful service, my Lexicon MPX100 has given up the ghost. I’ll never forget how amazing it suddenly made Vicky’s vocal sound. Or, more recently my Prophet 12. The last two other units standing (Alesis Quadraverb, Zoom 1201) are going to be poor substitutes.

Great, so now (like Microsoft) Evernote are also now trying to put up their prices - to cover the cost of AI features I didn’t ask for and don’t use. Is this going to be the thing that finally turns the public off genAI? The enshittification of things they use loads, at greater cost? Harumph etc.
