e.g. This is the best match for distance on a recent ride - I can then state in my report "driver was approximately 60cm from me and my bike" - otherwise, risk of distortion from wide angle lenses can make it seem further.

Screenshot from Monkey Dust, a sketch show; a recurring scene where a man is trying to remember to compliment his partner on her new haircut, only to be distracted by many different and wildly unlikely scenarios.

Following up from this - unexpected feedback from police on two recent reports for mobile phone use in dawn light (~7.50am in the last week).
The 2 pieces of footage you have sent, I have to say is truly impressive. What camera system are you using?

These 2 individuals have been processed for driving whilst using a mobile device.

The footage is excellent, with no ambiguity.

I'd offer to clear Burton using one of these, but most of the infrastructure is so outdated that I can't fit the e-cargo bike on it/through barriers. Case in point:

This is my favourite Cyclists Dismount sign. Present on both sides. Bonus points for give way markings (not sure who is giving way to who).

Etwall Rd in Derby, c2012 - a thins strip of pavement, with a dropped kerb at the far end but no provision or easy access to the shops behind the floating bus stop/car park and access road. Still present today

We have a double local to us! Barriers on the south side cut right down the centre of the pavement, and overgrown hedges at one end mean that you often can't fit past (especially with a pushchair/mobility scooter) but also there isn't enough space to turn around and come back!
