The myth of private schools being better than public schools is also spread by hypocritical, affluent liberals who will gentrify a neighborhood because they value l̶o̶w̶e̶r̶ h̶o̶u̶s̶i̶n̶g̶ c̶o̶s̶t̶s̶ "diversity" but collectively will refuse to send their kids to the local school.
