2 weeks of going solo and I actually made 1 (one) really annoying possibly costly mistake yesterday apparently 🙃😭😫. Nooooo....hopefully we can quickly amend it but I hate it when this happens

The regional transit measure thing is kind of like wow....I wish LET'S GLOW Bart event had had some information about this, it would've been a great mobilization event. I feel like Bart Weebs could definitely do something though this month? Fanart with info attached?

Am I reading this right -- the Regional Transit Measure in the San Francisco Bay Area is the climate ballot measure anywhere in the country this November? As in, the yes/no vote directly determines the largest increase in CO2 of any other ballot measure out there?

BART just set a new ridership record! We carried 254,248 trips yesterday. That’s our highest ridership day since the pandemic, a record we have been breaking again and again this year as more people want to take transit. Thread ⬇️

People see the upfront cost of buying lots of necessities (which IS and does get pricey) and complain about that, not thinking Abt the long-term (also I feel knowing how to properly shop is a skill, it's frustrating buying produce and then a lot going to waste if u don't know HOW to prepare it)

Sometimes though u really don't have the energy so I get it....shit's expensive but also time is precious (Im gonna go microwave some things now....)

It also depends ig on what ur buying or where ur getting ur takeout. I had some $10 rice rolls the other day for lunch which was great, different than spending a lot going out to dinner with friends or family or buying lunch when I forget mine at work

I say this as someone who both loves to cook but also periodically blows my budget on eating out (usually in times of busy-ness, stress, social reasons, etc). But like one thing i compromise is the fanciest indulgent frozen/pre-prepared food at the grocery is still cheaper than a restaurant

Trung Le Nguyen @trungles.com · 06/10/2026

Genuinely don't understand when people seriously argue that bringing ur own food/cooking ISNT cheaper than eating out (and especially delivery!) every day. I get ppl are in different circumstances (busy schedule, disabilities) but then that just means a higher-cost service is worth more to u

I am 100% serious. Fascistic art demands adoration, demands to be loved, demands to be respected. It does not seek to express so much as to impress. It is art that aims to take and take and take, never to give.

As the Evils of the Failed Artist is on everybody’s minds, I just wanna stress that failed artists are fail at it because they want to be adored instead of just being weird little freaks who cannot help making the shit they feel uncontrollably compelled to make

I feel like my dream in my field would to get really good at EVERYTHING and then also somehow teach or work I'm making educational materials. I think I'm really good at explaining stuff to people

Like can there be no room for anything else? Not to mention the profit driven nature of things makes me dislike stuff....but sighhhh

I really like my job and I feel proud and accomplished after a long day usually but like man it's tough to be squeezed .....

The only downside is bc it's made of like that stretchy plastic material it's not the most comfortable. But it's 1000+ more comfortable than trying to constantly avoid leaking on the first couple days.

It was in the fridge for a while ..I ate half of it but I let it there too long...

TMI but In the interests of Decreasing Stigma or whatever I gotta say this month I changed from using just regular menstrual pads to getting those menstrual disposable underwear and the DIFFERENCE IT MAKES......WHY DIDNT I DO THIS SOONER !!!!

I think this may have been the friend who also didn't know that The Odyssey was a poem. So well. Not to be stereotypical back but one of us went to Jupiter

One thing I wonder about, is while I'm happy to sell books, I'm more concerned if people are...actually reading them! I'm guilty of buying a bunch of stuff and letting it sit on the shelf, I want to be a better Commentor and Reviewer too!
