Friends, I recently guested on the True Bromance Podcast to discuss the modern classic and film that many people [ok, just me] are calling the "thinking man's Heat", DEN OF THIEVES. Do yourself a solid and make sure you check it out.

For FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS’ 20th Anniversary today, @sepinwall.bsky.social did a deep dive with Jason Katims on the making of the show and got some trivia about the “Mud Bowl” episode I’ve never heard before. This is a must-read: www.televisionacademy.com/features/onl...

Why yes, it IS apple season, motherfuckers. And as such, I posted a batch of apple-tasting reviews over at yonder blog hut: Also still unsure why it will not pull an image to represent the link here as it does elsewhere. Hmmmmm.

I had a nightmare involving the Wicked Witch of the West after watching "The Wizard of Oz." The funny part is, It wasn't the first time I had seen it.

I don’t make much money from my writing, I don’t have many readers (but the few I have are the coolest), but I am immensely grateful to be a writer and will forever be honored and humbled that so many presses have published my work. It really is something seeing my books like this. Do it for love.

I've been awake since 4am, and the absolute minimum I need to do is one load of laundry and I haven't started it yet. Getting some reading done, so that's cool . Lol

I will say this. I was very neutral to annoyed by the majority of season 3 of ENTERPRISE. But they really picked it up in the last three or four episodes. #StarTrek

Little James Horner, sat in a corner (in 1982) and wrote a pretty kick ass Star Trek score. "Enterprise Clears Moorings" is a standout, but the whole thing is top 3 for me.

My family was gathered in Dad's hospital room, inexplicably, they brought in a lunch tray. While we were divvying up the pudding and sandwich, Dad took advantage of the distraction to move on. So sorry for your loss. May her memory be a blessing.

Gotcha. That's a valid point. I too am a fan of the '80's Teen Titans, and of Robin, so why wouldn't I want my favorite character to date a hot alien chick? 🤣 Happy to meet a fellow fan.
