Here’s a snippet of #plantlore for today! The beautiful but poisonous hellebore so deadly it was thought to drive evil spirits out of dwellings. Mentioned in medieval grimoires, it was also seen as a tool to enter the underworld. Different colours possess different magical powers and uses. #Folklore

Hello all, hope this finds you well and happy. Absences are never easy, especially when they are due to looking after the ones you love. I am hoping to post a little more often and have the space to enjoy others observances, very interesting things and joys of the beautiful things around us.

My newest creation is a little crow bag. I designed and sewed her. Some people say that only marsupials should have pouches to carry around babies but she doesn't care what people think. She enjoys smelling flowers and dropping acorns on jerks.
Here's a photo of a fabric art crow bag. She's a cute gumdrop-shaped crow with big yellow eyes and a gray beak. She has a black pouch on her belly with three lovely orange flowers embroidered on it. Beside her are two tiny fabric art baby crows. They also have yellow eyes and gray beaks. One baby has little wings and one has none. This is another pic of the bird bag. This time the babies are peeking out of the pouch. This is an image of the lining of the bag. It's a white cotton fabric with black skeletons printed on it. We see a frog skeleton, a fish skeleton, and a lizard skeleton.
