If you ever find yourself on US 190 in west TX, driving through the town of Iraan, you should definitely take a couple of extra minutes to stop at Alley Oop Land. The park is actually a tribute to V.T Hamlin who wrote the popular Alley Oop comic strip while living in Iraan during the 1930s oil boom.

Last week I got a really good deal on a "like new" condition Sony a6000 camera. This morning the TTArtisans 25mm F2.0 manual focus lens I intend to use on it arrived. These are the first couple of test shots. Not bad for a $65 lens on a $200 camera. 😎 #flowers #bloomscrolling

We had some really interesting weather the other night here in Sierra Vista, Arizona. It's not very often we get a tornado warning issued by the National Weather Service. Turns out it was just strong mid-level rotation. But still a pretty cool storm.
