TLDR: Fur Affinity's advertising partners are demanding that they ban adult content. Sciggles and FA want to firmly tell them to go fuck themselves. If they're going to be able to afford to do that, they need the community's help. Pitch in. Keep furry weird. www.furaffinity.net/journal/1143...

It is not what it used to be, say thanks to Niantic to have left the game and sell it to Scopely.

-good we've done it will never be enough to be comfortable asking for site donations/assistance. Our resources are limited and avenues of rev aren't keeping bills paid. Depression is eating me up. We have some ideas to bring funds in but again I worry about people hating it/us. I'm tired.

A lot of people assume FA is profitable. If that were the case we wouldn't have needed a GFM when Neer passed to keep it out of probate. It's been two years. The funds were used. FA is struggling financially. And I am 🌟s t r e s s e d🌟 I'm scared to ask for help, I feel like no matter how much-

Get FA+ if possible or hell, I'd be down to donate to the site. It's because of FA that I was able to meet many of my friends here and I'm grateful for what the staff do regardless of some headass decisions from mods.

FA regardless of your personal feelings, is the core of the fandom and losing it would mean YEARS AND YEARS of art, messages, pages, and memorials for people that have passed, would be gone. We CANNOT allow ourselves to rely simply on sites like bsky, twitter, insta, etc. etc. to be our defaults.

I get you, I'm medicated with antidepressants too and, the hardest part is that I haven't had a chance to cover the cost of them, so one of my meds ran out and it's been crappy to feel dizzy and constantly stumbling as the abstinence side effects, yes, it's not the same situation, but still sucks

This fucking biiiiitch. Fantina in Platinum is- well, she's mother. Let's make that clear 💃 But HER MISMAGIUS IS INSANE AAAAA. The 3rd gym is usually the first jump in difficulty but wow. I lowered her accuracy, her speed TWICE, confused her, disabled Shadow Ball, and I'm STILL being swept. 😭

what a mess, don’t use TailTag lol

TL;DR
TailTag is a vibecoded mess of an app and accompanying backend.
Everything you have ever uploaded to TailTag, regardless of your public/private visibility, is publicly accessible in full.
A bad actor could, in theory
- Send push notifications to anyone, at any time, as much as they want, with whatever text they want, with delivery receipts.
- See every photo you have ever uploaded, all text you have ever written, any connection you have ever made, any achievements you have ever been granted. Literally any bit of PII data (besides your password).
- Receive live updates for any data on the app, essentially allowing them to see all happenings in full and in real time.
- Map social circles and view catch images which may reveal a suiter and/or player's location.
